The Call for Posters is now open for the 14th Annual IHA Health Literacy Conference! Have you done work that addresses an issue related to health literacy? Implemented a program, or done research, that you would like to share with your like-minded colleagues in the health literacy community? Creating a poster is a great way to do just that. And it's easy! Click here to read the poster guidelines. Click here to look at some videos of poster presenters.

This year, we are particularly interested in working with those of you who have never done a poster before. Have you implemented a program that met a need? Creating a poster has many benefits:

  • Helps build your resume
  • Brings attention and prestige to your organization
  • Provides your colleagues with potential solutions to similar issues
  • Great  way to network with your health literacy colleagues For grant-funded projects, an excellent way to disseminate your results

We have a few resources to  help you out:

Click here http://www.iha4health.org/iha-conference/call-for-poster-abstracts / to watch our short video of poster presenters from last year, who offer tips and advice on creating your poster.    Call us (800) 434-4633 for a list of poster presenters who have agreed to help mentor and advise you on writing up your abstract and creating your poster.    Take a look at posters from last year and the year before, to get a good idea of how to structure your poster.
